Sickening

So I can't decide on what pisses me off more. The fact that our president is pandering to his base by coming out in support of a constitutional ban on gay marriage or that it is advantageous for him to do so because intolerance, hate and fear mongering will be enough to "energize the base" and get conservatives to vote.
